Gubbio is the typical Umbrian medieval town. Located in the north-east area of Umbria, the town is in the middle of a landscape rich of forests and mountains. Monte Cucco Natural Itinerary Near Gubbio there is a great park, called Monte Cucco (1552 mt high), which gives the chance to walk through natural itineraries in a very unique landscape with forests, caves (more than 30km inside the park). Most caves can be visited, especially by potholing lovers. Their depth gets until 930 mts underground. Near the Park there are equipped area for the free flight, deltaplane, mountain byke itineraries and, durign the winter, ski paths.
