Perugia is the main city of Umbria and it is a very dynamic and rich area. Its downtown is famous for Corso Vannucci and it is rich of monuments and activities. The city is at its best during two traditional events: Eurochocolate, a chocolate festival and the Umbria Jazz Summer Festival, where great international musicians play gigs through the city, in its theatresm squares and in charming buildings. |

 Trasimeno Hills Natural Itinerary
A land rich of beautiful boroughs located along the Trasimeno Lake. This itinerary is a great one, touching towns such as Castiglione del Lago, where from its Castle visitors can see a stunning view of the lake. Around the lake, visitors can stop and see the Fishing Museum as well as visit the countryside towards Monte Castiglione, where are ancient riuns and paths for walking/horse riding tours.

The city is right in the middle of Umbria, with its 5 historical quarters closed inside the Etruscan city walls. They are huge walls made of giant square stones put together more than 22 centuries ago and still today partially complete. Perugia has several monuments and historical squares and locations, such as Piazza Grande (Piazza IV Novembre), a superbe monument complex qhich includes Palazzo dei Priori, the Cathedral and the Thirteen Century Fontana Maggiore.
On the other side of Corso Vannucci, there is a famous Belvoir Garden made on the Rocca Paolina basis, which was the Fortress built by Pope Paul the Third in 1540.
