Spoleto is a Medieval town which previously was a roman town. Today iit is one of the most important Umbrian cities. Its fame is mostly because of its famous Due Mondi Music Festival, which takes place in the charming Piazza del Duomo. For many years Spoleto has been under the Pope dominion, during which the big Rocca was built (1362, from Cardinal Albornoz). Also its rooks  bridge (230 mts long and 76 mts high) were ordered by the Cardinal. It is composed by great arches and it is built over an ancient Roman aquaeduct.

Spoleto Events

Due Mondi Music Festival It takes place between June and July in Piazza del Duomo and every year proposes international dancing and music shows.The first Festival edition started in 1958 and since then it improved more and more, getting success and fame for the town.
